Dr Nanditha Nandakumar completed MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysore in 2005. She secured highest marks for her batch in final year exams, as well topping in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatrics. She was awarded Gold Medal for obtaining highest marks in Paediatrics.
Dr Nanditha then pursued higher education in UK. She completed MRCPCH through structured higher specialist training in Paediatrics/Neonates and has received CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training). She has worked in various prestigious hospitals across UK for 14 years and has extensive Neonatal and paediatric knowledge.
After completion of training, Dr Nanditha was working as a Neonatal Consultant in one of the Tertiary Neonatal Hospitals in the UK, before relocating to India. Dr Nanditha has expertise in looking after newborns as small and early as 23 weeks, including carrying out procedures such as intubations, central line insertions, chest drains. She has experience in using advanced modes of ventilation, including HFOV and inhaled nitric oxide therapy.
Dr Nanditha has keen interest in teaching and has completed PG Cert in Medical Education. She is also a trained Simulation Instructor as well Advanced NRP instructor . Dr Nanditha has actively involved herself in clinical governance, research and medical education throughout her career. She has presented at various national and international conferences.
