Dr Hema did her MBBS from Mysore Medical college.
She did her MD in General Medicine from Adichunchanagiri institute of Medical sciences and secured 2nd rank for Rajiv Gandhi University.
Following this she worked in various institutions – Vikram Hospital, Mysore and Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences.
She joined Jayadeva, Mysore branch from 2010 when it started in Mysore. She perused DM cardiology in Jayadeva and became an Interventional Cardiologist. She now works as Associate professor of Cardiology, Sri Jayadeva Institute of cardiovascular sciences and research, Mysore branch.
