Dr Arun G. R is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), joint replacement, and complex orthopedic trauma surgeries. Dr.Arun.G.R has a special interest and skill in treating upper limb and lower limb pathologies. He also has vast experience in treating difficult and complex arthroscopy and trauma surgeries.
Dr. Arun.G.R did his MBBS from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. He further secured 39th rank in AIIMS, Delhi, and 201 rank in All India entrance exam and did his MS Orthopaedics from the esteemed Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He also has the experience of working in renowned Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. He did his fellowship in arthroscopy and sports injuries from Ortho one orthopedic specialty center, Coimbatore under the guidance of the great Dr.David Rajan. He further underwent training in shoulder arthroscopy and joint replacement surgeries under Dr.Ashish Babhulkar, Pune. He was honored with Johnson and Johnson traveling fellowship from the prestigious Indian orthopedic Association. He joined Mysore medical college and research center in 2015. Since then he is applying all his skills and knowledge in training postgraduates and in the treatment of the needy.
